What Sets Us Apart?

40 Year Legacy of Medical Education

Since 1978, AUC School of Medicine has been a leading provider of international medical education, making us one of the oldest medical schools in the Caribbean. Our alumni network now exceeds 7,500+ graduates from over 78 countries.

Accredited MD Program

AUC School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM). Our accreditation standards have been deemed comparable to U.S. medical school requirements by the U.S. Department of Education.

Global Clinical Network

Experience a vast array of clinical training opportunities while rotating at one or more of our 25 affiliated hospital sites. AUC students see a diverse mix of patients across a variety of clinical settings and gain a better understanding of global health care.

Where can I practice medicine as an AUC graduate?

You'll be eligible for licensure to practice in all 50 US states, Canada, and internationally.

Are AUC students eligible for financial aid?

U.S. students can apply for financial aid from the U.S. Department of Education’s William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program. Qualified students can borrow up to the entire cost of attendance (which includes tuition, books and supplies, accommodation, and travel).

Are there scholarships available?

AUC is proud to have awarded more than $24.3 million USD in scholarships since 2009. We offer a variety of merit-based scholarships that reward academic achievement, recognize community volunteerism, and more, for those who qualify.

How selective is AUC's admissions process?

At AUC, we have rigorous standards when considering applicants. Yes, we look at the whole person—we want to know about one's life experience, volunteerism, maturity, and commitment—but we also look closely at how a candidate performed academically as an undergraduate and their MCAT score.
